This workshop will build on the knowledge and practice taught during the beginner pen and nib workshop. If you are self taught and have some basic experience of using a pen and nib this workshop will be equally suitable for you.

We start with some warm-up drills before reviewing the basic letter-forms.  Following on from this we will help you to understand where and when you can bounce your letters and how we can’ break the rules’.  We will also delve into the scary world of flourishing to add flair and elegance to your calligraphy.

There will be a completely new Improver kit which will include a workbook for you to take away together with an alternative nib, oblique pen and bottle of Sumi ink.
Plenty of 1:1 help available to improve your calligraphy skills and time to practice
