Four week Italic course October 8/15/22/29

Over four weeks we will learn one of the most beautiful traditional scripts there is.  Using a broad edge nib,  Bridgette will teach you how to form an Italic alphabet.  Unlike Modern Calligraphy, creating letters in Italic requires a measured and accurate approach.  If you would like to understand the fundamental principles behind this script, join Bridgette on this four week course and have fun while you practice.

In an effort to keep costs to a minimum, a pen and broad edge nib and ink will be provided for use during the workshop and handouts provided weekly

Pens and nibs and ink will be available to purchase, should you wish to.  Many people already have a kit of their own.  Please feel free to bring any kit or equipment you do have with you to the workshop and Bridgette will be happy to advise you if they are suitable

Note:  This course will only go ahead if the minimum number is achieved

Please be aware once payment has been made and your booking is confirmed we will not be able to issue any refunds. If you cancel up to 14 days prior to your workshop we can transfer your booking to a future date. If the cancellation is within 14 days of your workshop we cannot swap your date although you can offer your place to a friend. It is important therefore to ensure you are able to attend before committing.
